Chad Bowes broke the record of Australian and Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Travis Head. Travis had earlier scored the fastest double century in 114 balls while playing for South Australia in List A. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Tamil Nadu opener Narayan Jagadeesan also scored 200 runs off 114 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match in 2022.
If we talk about Bowes' cricket career, he has played 6 ODIs and 11 T20 matches for New Zealand so far. He also became the second player in history to score a double century in the Ford Trophy. Former Black Caps batsman Jamie How (222 in the 2012-13 season) is the only player to do so.
