Can Mumbai Indians (MI) still qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs?: Mumbai Indians had to face defeat by three wickets against Gujarat Titans in the last match. Hardik Pandya's team batted first and scored only 155 runs after losing 8 wickets. During the second innings, rain hindered the game a lot, after which Gujarat got a target of 147 runs (DLS Target) in 19 overs. Mumbai Indians can come in the top-2 if they win their remaining two league matches by a big margin and no more than one team reaches the top-4 with more than 18 points. So far, Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore have 16 points after 11 matches and if they win two of their remaining three league matches, they will have 20 points, which Mumbai cannot match.

On the other hand, if the team loses one of the last two matches, then they will have to depend on the results of Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. On the other hand, if Hardik Pandya's team loses both the last matches, then it will not be able to reach the playoffs.
