Ben stokes appointed as new test captain of England cricket team

After becoming the Test captain, Stokes said, "I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the England Test team. It's a real privilege, and I'm excited about it. I want to thank Joe (Root) for everything he has done for English cricket. He has been a big part of my growth as a leader in the dressing room, and he will continue to be an important ally for me in this role."
