The Indian cricket team won the title by defeating New Zealand by 4 wickets in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025. This was the third time the Indian team won the Champions Trophy. The BCCI has now announced to give prize money to Team India for winning the Champions Trophy.
BCCI will give Rs 58 crore to Team India as prize money. This prize money will be given to the players as well as the coach and support staff. Team India last won the Champions Trophy title in 2013 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In such a situation, once again after 12 years, India won the ICC tournament.
BCCI shared a post on X, in which they announced the prize money for the Indian cricket team for winning the Champions Trophy 2025. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, did not lose a single match in the Champions Trophy 2025 and won the title by defeating New Zealand by 4 wickets in the final match.
Now after the victory of Team India, BCCI (BCCI Announces Cash Reward for India) has opened the treasury and announced a cash reward of Rs 58 crore to Team India. This prize money will be given to the players, coaching and support staff including the members of the selection committee.
