BCCI Announces Afghanistan Tour of India 2026: Big news for Indian cricket fans. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the official schedule for the Afghanistan cricket team's tour of India today, March 2, 2026. The Afghanistan team will test their strength against the 'Men in Blue' on this tour.
The tour will feature a historic Test match and a three-match ODI series between the two teams.

Afghanistan's tour of India will begin with a red-ball game. The only Test match of the series will be played between June 6 and 10. The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium (New Chandigarh) in Mullanpur will host the match. It will be interesting to see how Afghanistan's spinners perform in the Test format on Indian pitches.

India vs Afghanistan ODI Series: Match Details and Locations

After the conclusion of the Test match, the two teams will clash in white-ball cricket. The three-match ODI series will be held in different parts of the country:
- First ODI: will be played in Dharamshala, nestled in the mountains.
- Second ODI: will be held at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, the city of Nawabs.
- Third ODI: will be played in Chennai, the cricket hub of South India.
