Bangladesh squad and schedule for Asia Cup 2025: Bangladesh on Friday announced a 16-member squad for the Asia Cup 2025. Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan and 26-year-old Saif Hasan have returned to the team. Liton Das will lead the Bangladesh team in the upcoming Asia Cup. The team will also play a three-match T20 International series against the Netherlands before the Asia Cup. Nurul Hasan Sohan has been included in the Bangladesh T20 International team after almost three years. 31-year-old Sohan last played in this format during the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia.
Bangladesh has been placed in Group B along with Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka. Under the leadership of Liton Das, Bangladesh registered its first T20 series win against Sri Lanka at home in July.
