India’s white-ball tour of Australia has reached the final match. The fifth and last T20I is being played at The Gabba in Brisbane on Saturday, November 8. India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, want to win the series, while Mitchell Marsh’s Australia will try to end the series in a draw.
Australia Choose to Bowl First
Australia captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and decided to bowl first. He said, “It looks like a good pitch. Always great to play here. We have a chance to draw the series.” Australia went with the same team as the last game.
Rinku Singh In, Tilak Varma Rested on His Birthday
India captain Suryakumar Yadav once again lost the toss but stayed positive. He said, “It’s okay to lose the toss as long as we’re winning matches. We want to play freely and continue our good performance. We did everything right in the last game and want to keep that up.”
India made one change - Rinku Singh replaced Tilak Varma, who got a rest on his birthday. Suryakumar confirmed that Tilak is not injured, just resting.
