Asia Cup 2025 venue announced: The Asian Cricket Council officially announced the venues for the ACC Men's T20 Asia Cup 2025 and revealed that it will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, 2025. The tournament will be played across two venues, Dubai which will host 11 matches, and Abu Dhabi, which will host eight games, with a total of 19 T20 Internationals.
It has also announced the timings of the matches which will start at 6 pm UAE time, which is equivalent to 7:30 pm in India. The tournament will run from September 9 to 28.
In a 19-day tournament with 19 matches, there will be an overlap in the time table. Two matches are scheduled on September 15 – UAE vs Oman followed by Sri Lanka vs Hong Kong. The first match will start at 4:30 pm local time (6 pm IST), while the second match will start at 7:30 pm as per usual time. As a result, parts of both matches will inevitably overlap.

The tournament, played in T20 format, is designed to help the participating teams prepare for the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka next year. India and Pakistan can potentially face each other three times during the competition. If both teams reach the Super Four, they will face each other again, and if they reach the final, a third match is also possible.
Announcing the venues and timings, ACC President Mohsin Naqvi said, "The venues and timings of the ACC T20 Asia Cup have been announced! Packed stadiums and some very exciting matches are eagerly awaited." The ACC said in a statement, "With the top Asian cricket nations clashing in one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year, this announcement is a big step in preparations for the tournament. From iconic stadiums to enthusiastic fans, the stage is set for exciting encounters across the continent."
The men's Asia Cup will run from September 9 to 28. India will begin their campaign against the United Arab Emirates on September 10 at the Dubai International Stadium. Group A comprises India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman, while Group B comprises Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
