England tour of India, 4th T20I: India will take on England in the fourth T20I of the five-match series. The match will be played on January 31 at 7:00 PM IST at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, India.

India will take on England in the fourth T20I at the MCA Stadium in Pune on January 31. England have managed to keep the series alive with a 26-run win in the third T20I in Rajkot as their bowlers did a commendable job in restricting the mighty Indian batting line-up. The series is still 2-1 in India's favour. A win in Pune will see India win the T20I series and the final encounter in Mumbai will be a one-sided affair. Following this, India made changes to their playing XI from the previous match, including Mohammed Shami and resting Arshdeep Singh. The effect was seen immediately as the England openers put together a 50-plus run partnership for the first time in the series.

The Pune pitch has generally been good for spinners. The wicket has been slow. However, if some grass is left on the pitch then it will be good for batting. If there is dew then the pitch might be better for batting in the second innings, otherwise the team batting first might have a slight advantage.
Four T20 matches have been played on this ground so far. Two of these have been won by the team batting first, while two matches have been won by the team chasing the target. So, this shows that the toss does not have a huge impact on the result of the game. However, if there is dew, then the team winning the toss might consider fielding first.
The weather is expected to be mostly clear during the game. According to AccuWeather's report, the maximum temperature during the game will be around 18°C and there is no chance of rain during the game.
