Batting first in Glasgow, Netherlands scored 152 runs. Wesley Barsi, Vikramjit Singh and Teja Nidamanuru played important innings, while Sandeep Lamichhane bowled brilliantly for Nepal and took 3 wickets. In reply, Nepal also scored 152 runs.

Innings of captain Rohit Paudel (48 runs) and Kushal Bhurtel (34 runs) took the team to the target. Daniel Doram made the match exciting by taking 3 wickets for Netherlands.
This was the first time that a third super over was played in a men's T20 or List A match. Netherlands bowlers Doram and Jack Lion Cash turned the game around. Nepal lost the match after coming close to victory thrice. In this way, this match became one of the most exciting matches of the century for cricket lovers.
First Super Over: Nepal scored 19 runs thanks to Bhurtel's explosive hits. In reply, Netherlands equalized the match on the last ball.
Second Super Over: Netherlands scored 17 runs, but Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee equalized the score again by hitting a six on the last ball.
Third Super Over: Jack Lyon-Cache dismissed both Nepal batsmen and restricted the team to zero. Then Michael Levitt hit a six to give Netherlands the win.
