The Indian women's team is all set to win the second T20 match after a resounding 97-run win. They will take on England at the Bristol County Ground on July 1. India won the first match in the five-match series. Captain Smriti Mandhana scored her first T20 century and led the team as Harmanpreet Kaur was not playing. New player Sricharani took four wickets and created history. The team performed well in both batting and bowling and defeated the strong English team. This victory will also benefit India in the next match.
England were bowled out for just 113 in 14.5 overs. Sciver-Brunt was among only three England batsmen to reach double figures. She played a brilliant knock of 66 runs off 42 balls but did not get much support from her fellow batsmen. Sri Charani performed brilliantly on her T20I debut and finished with figures of 4/12 in 3.5 overs. Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav took two wickets each, while Amanjot Kaur and Arundhati Reddy got one wicket each.
