The sports news portal 1xBat Sporting Lines has signed a partnership agreement with the International League T20 (ILT20), receiving the Official Partner status.
The professional Twenty20 cricket league ILT20 was founded in 2022 in the United Arab Emirates under the auspices of the Emirates Cricket Board. The league has held three seasons so far, won by the Gulf Giants (2023), MI Emirates (2024), and Dubai Capitals (2025).
1xBat Sporting Lines specializes in cricket, so its partnership with the most popular league in the United Arab Emirates, ILT20, will help attract even more attention to the championship and to cricket in India and beyond.
“ILT20 is the second most popular cricket league in India after the IPL. The first two seasons drew more than 340 million viewers worldwide, with 108 million from India. The high level of ILT20 puts it on par with such popular competitions as the Big Bash League, the Bangladesh Premier League, and SA20. In previous seasons, 1xBat Sporting Lines supported the Desert Vipers team, and has now decided to scale this collaboration to the entire ILT20 league,” a 1xBat Sporting Lines representative noted.
Under the partnership agreement, the 1xBat logo will appear on stadium advertising structures during matches and interviews for ILT20 2026, including LED perimeter advertising boards, a 3D logo on the outfield at one end, static logo exposure, and TVCs on the big screen. Millions of cricket fans around the world will see the brand’s image thanks to Zee’s TV broadcasts in India and 22 other countries. 1xBat will sponsor awards for the best squad of each match and of the entire season, as well as give away merchandise signed by team players. The partners will also publish collaborative posts on social media, while the ILT20 official website will feature the 1xBat logo and links.
“We are grateful to 1xBat Sporting Lines for supporting the International League T20! Thanks to this collaboration, even more Indian cricket fans will learn about ILT20, which means the popularity of our championship in the world’s biggest cricket nation will reach a new level.” shared an International League T20 representative.
The ILT20 fourth season will kick off on 2 December 2025, coinciding with UAE National Day, and will run until 4 January 2026. The chosen dates avoid overlap with the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup and other popular championships, such as SA20, the Big Bash League, and the BPL.
Six teams will take part in ILT20 2026: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz. The participants will play 34 matches across three stadiums: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The 2026 season marks the first time ILT20 has used the auction system common in other cricket leagues. The most expensive players at the auction were Andre Fletcher, acquired by MI Emirates for $260,000, Scott Currie, picked up by Dubai Capitals for $250,000, along with Junaid Siddique and Liam Dawson, for whom Sharjah Warriorz and Gulf Giants each paid $170,000.
