- Tawde's statement: He said that we fought the Bihar elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. However, the decision on who will be the Chief Minister will be taken by all five parties together.
The NDA alliance includes Jitan Ram Manjhi's party 'HAM', Upendra Kushwaha's party 'RML', and Chirag Paswan's party 'LJPR', in addition to the BJP and JDU. Tawde's statement indicates that the decision on the CM post will now be taken with the consent of all coalition partners.

BJP's historic performance
This is the BJP's best performance in the history of Bihar elections. The BJP has broken its own previous record. In the 2010 assembly elections, the BJP had won 91 seats. This means that the BJP has emerged as the largest party in Bihar.
Will Nitish Kumar become the CM for the 10th time?

As far as the CM post is concerned, the NDA did not make any formal announcement before the elections, unlike the Grand Alliance.
- However, Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi did say that Nitish Kumar would be the next CM.
- Nitish Kumar has been sworn in as the CM of Bihar nine times so far.
The question is, will he be able to take the oath of CM for the 10th time? The answer to this question will become clear in the coming days, when all five NDA parties come together to formally elect their leader.
