Vikram Misri on India Pakistan Ceasefire: Since Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has been continuously attacking India with drones and missiles. After Pakistan's appeal, a ceasefire agreement was reached between the two countries last evening (May 10, 2025), but the neighboring country violated it again. Drones were seen in Jammu and Kashmir at around 8 pm last night and sounds of explosions were also heard. India reacted sharply to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
What was discussed between India and Pakistan regarding ceasefire?
India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, 'For the last few hours, the agreement reached between the Directors General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan this evening (May 10) is being repeatedly violated. This is a violation of the ceasefire agreement reached today. The Indian Army is giving an adequate and appropriate response to these violations and we take these violations very seriously.
We appeal to Pakistan to take appropriate steps to remove ceasefire violations and handle the situation with seriousness and responsibility. The army is keeping a close watch on the situation. They have been instructed to deal strictly with any incident of border violation on the international border as well as the Line of Control.'
