विराट कोहली ने सोमवार को टेस्ट क्रिकेट से संन्यास का ऐलान कर दिया। उन्होंने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक पोस्ट के जरिए अपने 14 साल लंबे टेस्ट करियर का अंत किया। इससे पहले उन्होंने टी20 इंटरनेशनल से भी संन्यास ले लिया था। ऐसे में विराट अब सिर्फ वनडे में ही खेलते नजर आएंगे।
जून 2011 में टेस्ट क्रिकेट में डेब्यू करने वाले विराट कोहली के संन्यास से सोशल मीडिया दुखी हो गया। एक्स पर रिएक्शन की बाढ़ आ गई है। फैंस भारी मन से कोहली पर प्यार बरसा रहे हैं। वहीं पूर्व क्रिकेटरों ने किंग कोहली को नई पारी की बधाई दी है।
वीरेंद्र सहवाग ने इंस्टाग्राम पर लिखा, शानदार टेस्ट करियर के लिए विराट कोहली को बधाई। जब से मैंने तुम्हें देखा, मुझे लगा कि तुम खास हो। तुमने जो तीव्रता दिखाई और जिस जुनून के साथ तुमने टेस्ट क्रिकेट खेला, उसे देखना वाकई खुशी देने वाला था। तुम टेस्ट क्रिकेट के शानदार एम्बेसडर थे और वनडे क्रिकेट में तुम्हारे शानदार समय की कामना करता हूं।
