Just days after their serene stop in Vrindavan, Virushka, as fans fondly call them, were spotted at the Shree Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya, one of the holiest sites for devotees of Lord Hanuman. The couple's visit was marked by devotion, grace, and humility.

In a now-viral video circulating across Instagram fan pages and social media, the duo is seen descending the temple stairs, flanked by temple priests and tight security. Anushka Sharma, radiating elegance in a pastel pink ethnic ensemble, was adorned with a delicate floral garland, while Virat Kohli kept it classic in a beige kurta-pyjama. Both wore traditional white saris draped respectfully around their necks.

Fans couldn’t get enough. One caption on a popular fan account read, 'Virushka visited Shree Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya,' drawing thousands of likes and heart emojis within minutes.

Before their Ayodhya darshan, the couple visited Vrindavan, the sacred land of Lord Krishna. Their destination? Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram on Varah Ghat, where they engaged in a rare Ekantik Vartalaap (one-on-one spiritual conversation) with Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj, affectionately known as Premanand Ji Maharaj.

Their spiritual exchange became a talking point when, upon greeting the couple, Maharaj Ji asked, 'Prasanna ho?' (Are you happy?) to which Virat humbly replied, 'Ji, abhi thik hain.' (Yes, I'm okay.) Maharaj Ji’s simple yet profound blessing, 'You should stay well,' resonated deeply with fans.

This marked Virat and Anushka’s second visit to Vrindavan this year, their first being in January 2025, when they arrived with their children, Vamika and Akaay, to seek blessings as a complete family.

While both stars are acclaimed in their respective fields, Virat in cricket and Anushka in cinema, their spiritual commitments showcase a different, more grounded side. Their visits to sacred spaces appear to be genuine expressions of faith and gratitude.

These moments are especially cherished in today’s digital age, where public figures rarely slow down. For Virat and Anushka, it’s a conscious choice to pause, reflect, and connect with something greater.

Virat Kohli, a titan of Indian cricket, is currently playing in the IPL 2025 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In a major update, he announced his retirement from Test cricket on May 12, 2025, drawing emotional reactions from fans and teammates alike.

Anushka Sharma, who has largely stepped away from mainstream cinema, made her last appearance in a cameo role in the 2022 film Qala. She’s been focusing on motherhood and spiritual growth, especially after welcoming their son Akaay in February 2024.

The couple, who married in December 2017 in Italy, continue to evolve as individuals and as a family rooted in values and tradition.

In a world consumed by fame and social media clout, Virat and Anushka’s spiritual path is a refreshing reminder of the importance of inner peace, humility, and seeking blessings in silence. Their journey from the cricket field and film sets to the sacred steps of Vrindavan and Ayodhya has not just captured attention, it has touched hearts.

For fans and followers, it's not just about where they go, but how they walk their path with grace, devotion, and quiet strength.
