Prabhas pan-India horror comedy film The Raja Saab is all set to make its OTT debut even before completing a month in theatres. After failing to meet box office expectations due to tough competition from Dhurandhar, the film is now gearing up for a digital release.
The Raja Saab Box Office Performance Falls Short of Expectations
Released worldwide on January 9, The Raja Saab starred Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt and Nidhhi Agerwal. Given Prabhas star power, the film was expected to deliver massive numbers. However, despite strong pre-release buzz, it struggled to sustain momentum at the box office.
Made on a massive budget of around ₹400 crore, the film managed to stay in theatres for only 3-4 weeks. The competition from Dhurandhar significantly impacted its theatrical run, turning the film into one of the biggest commercial disappointments of Prabhas career.
The Raja Saab OTT Release Date and Platform
According to reports by The Times of India, The Raja Saab will start streaming on Jio Hotstar from February 6.
Initially, the film will be available in:
- Telugu
- Tamil
- Kannada
- Malayalam
There is no official confirmation yet regarding the Hindi version’s OTT release, and Hindi-speaking audiences may need to wait a little longer.
