On Thursday, November 20, the Indian stock market witnessed a strong rally in the fourth trading session of the week. Both major benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, closed in the green.
The BSE Sensex index, which includes the Nifty 30 index, rose 446.21 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 85,632.68. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 139.50 points, or 0.54 percent, to close at 26,192.15. This rally in the stock market helped the Nifty cross 26,000 for the first time.

Nifty Fin Services, Nifty Bank, Nifty 100, Nifty Auto, and Nifty 50 stocks saw significant gains. Meanwhile, Nifty Smallcap and Nifty IT stocks ended the day in the red.
Reasons for Market Rise:
Foreign investors have once again expressed their confidence in the Indian stock market. FII investors invested a total of ₹1,580.72 crore in the market, which reflected in the stock market, with both indices trading in the green.
Positive signals from global markets also boosted the Indian market. South Korea's Kospi and Japan's Nikkei 225 rose more than three percent. The Shanghai SSE Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng also saw gains, leading to a strong rally in the stock market.
