Mrunal Thakur won the Best Actress award. She was given the award for Hi Nanna. Sandeep Reddy Vanga was given the Sensation of the Year award.
His Hi Nanna co-star Nani won the Best Actor award for Dussehra. Chaitra Achar won the Best Actress award in Tobi. Meanwhile, Kannada film Kaatera won the Best Film award. Hemanth Rao won the Best Director award for Sapta Sagaradaache Elo - Side A.
This year SIIMA was held in Dubai. Nani won the Best Actor award for Dussehra, while the film also won several other awards. These include Best Actress, which was won by Keerthy Suresh, and Best Director, which was won by Srikanth Odela. Deekshitha Shetty also won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for the film.

Singer Kapil Kapilan won the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for Sapta Sagaradaache Elo.
