Malayalam Actress Lakshmi Menon Accused of Kidnapping: Well-known actress of Malayalam film industry Lakshmi Menon has been caught in a serious criminal case. She has been accused in the kidnapping and assault of an IT employee in Kochi. Police have arrested three other accused present with the actress in this case, while Lakshmi Menon is absconding.

According to the police, the whole incident started with a minor dispute in a bar located on Banerjee Road in Kochi on the 25th. Actress Lakshmi Menon and a group of her friends got into an argument with another group. When the dispute escalated, the complainant IT employee and his friends left the bar in their car.
After this, the actress and her companions chased their car. After chasing, they kidnapped the IT employee and brutally beat him. The complainant, Aliyar Shah Salim, a resident of Aluva, said in his complaint that after the assault, the attackers left him at Paravur intersection.
Police registered a case, arrests continue
A case has been registered at the North Police Station. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took immediate action and arrested Ranjeet, Aneesh and Sona Mol who were present with the actress. However, attempts were made to contact Lakshmi Menon over the phone, but her phone was found switched off. When the police reached her house, she was not found there either. The police believe that the actress has absconded to avoid arrest and her search is on.
