Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated. The news of his hospitalization raised concern among fans, but the family has now expressed displeasure over how his medical updates were handled.
According to reports, doctors at the hospital spoke to the media and shared details about Salim Khan’s condition. This did not go down well with the Khan family, who reportedly felt that the updates breached their privacy.

The report further states that Salman Khan and his family were unhappy with the doctors making public statements. Salman reportedly made it clear to hospital authorities that no further details about his father’s health should be disclosed without permission.
While Salim Khan is a public figure, the family believes that his medical condition is confidential and deserves complete privacy.

Earlier, Dr. Jalil Parkar from Lilavati Hospital had spoken to the media, stating that Salim Khan was experiencing seizures and had high blood pressure. As a precautionary measure, doctors provided ventilator support to prevent his condition from worsening.
The doctor clarified that Salim Khan’s condition was not critical, but given his age, extra care was necessary.

Doctors also revealed that a minor medical procedure was performed on Salim Khan and that his condition was stable. He was shifted to the ICU for close monitoring and was expected to be taken off ventilator support soon.
Medical experts added that recovery may take some time due to age-related factors, but his overall health showed improvement.
