The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for nearly four years and no country is ready to step back. From US President Donald Trump to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone has made every effort to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Recently, President Trump met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska and after that he also met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, both the meetings were inconclusive and no concrete decision could be taken towards ending the war.

14 people killed in Russian attack:

Now Russia has attacked the European Union delegation building in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Ukraine says that Russia has carried out a massive attack on Kyiv, in which at least 14 people have died and 48 have been injured. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiha said in a post on X that a building of the European Union mission in Ukraine has also been damaged in the Russian attack.

President Zelensky said that 14 people were killed in the Russian attack on Kiev, including three children. He said that many facilities, including the European Union building, were damaged.

He said, 'This Russian attack needs worldwide condemnation, not just from the European Union.' The European Union President in Ukraine, Antonio Costa, has also confirmed this attack. Sharing the photo of the building damaged in the attack, he wrote on Twitter, 'I am horrified by another night of deadly Russian missile attacks on Ukraine.'

Russia does not want to end the war:

He said that Russia is not choosing to end the war, but is launching new attacks. Dozens of buildings were damaged overnight in Kiev, residential areas, office centers were damaged. These include the building where the EU delegation in Ukraine is located. Now it is important that the world responds strongly. Russia must stop this war that it started and is continuing.

Zelensky said that Russia's continued attempts to deny the ceasefire and avoid negotiations require new and tougher sanctions. Only this can be effective. Russia only understands power and pressure. For every attack, Moscow will have to bear the consequences.

629 missiles and drones fired on Ukraine:

French President Emmanuel Macron posted on X and claimed, 'Ukraine was attacked with 629 missiles and drones in one night, this is Russia's concept of peace. Terror and barbarism.' He further said that more than a dozen people, including children, were killed. Residential areas and civil infrastructure were deliberately targeted.

Regarding the attack, the Russian Defense Ministry says that it has achieved all its targets. It used hypersonic 'Kinjal' missiles, drones and precision air missiles. The ministry said that the Russian army attacked the Ukrainian surveillance ship. Along with this, Ukrainian military bases and airports have also been targeted. The Russian army has also claimed to have captured Nalepyivka in eastern Ukraine.

Standing firmly with Ukraine:

Antonio Costa said, 'My condolences are with the Ukrainian victims and the employees there, whose building has been damaged in this deliberate Russian attack. The European Union will not be afraid of this. Russia's aggression further strengthens our resolve to stand with Ukraine and its people.' European leaders are openly supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia. Recently, during the meeting with Trump, many European leaders also reached Washington with Zelensky.
