Reliance Industries has once again stolen the spotlight with its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where Mukesh Ambani and Akash Ambani placed artificial intelligence at the heart of the company’s future. The event was nothing short of a tech-powered spectacle, unveiling futuristic AI-driven innovations that promise to transform how Indians live, work, and consume entertainment.

In a speech that blended vision with ambition, Mukesh Ambani called AI 'the Kamdhenu of our times', a wish-fulfilling force that will fuel Reliance’s next wave of growth. The company’s latest launches, from voice assistants to smart glasses, signal a bold step towards making India the world’s first AI-native digital economy.

Riya AI on JioHotstar

The highlight of the AGM was Riya, Reliance’s AI-powered voice assistant designed to redefine the viewing experience on JioHotstar. Forget endless scrolling, Riya lets users simply ask for highlights, episodes, or even specific game moments, and the assistant curates results instantly.

What makes Riya stand out is its multilingual capability. Viewers can now enjoy live sports, shows, and movies in their own language with AI-powered voice dubbing and lip-sync precision, ensuring that stars not only speak your language but do so in their own voice. This innovation could make entertainment more inclusive than ever before.

JioPC Virtual Computer

Reliance also announced JioPC, a product that transforms any screen into a full-fledged AI-ready computer. With just a keyboard connected to the Jio Set-Top Box, users can access a secure, always-updated virtual desktop straight from Jio Cloud.

The biggest advantage? No need to buy expensive hardware. Users can scale memory, storage, and performance remotely, paying only for what they use. It’s a move that could democratize access to advanced computing for millions of households and small businesses in India.

JioFrames Smart Glasses

In a nod to the future of wearables, Reliance introduced JioFrames, its first pair of AI-integrated smart glasses. These lightweight glasses let users capture photos, record videos, and store content directly in Jio Cloud. But they go beyond just recording, with built-in AI and voice assistants, users can get real-time help while cooking, studying, or even reading, all without touching a screen.

Multilingual support ensures JioFrames speak to every Indian, literally. By combining convenience with innovation, these smart glasses could emerge as a daily essential, much like smartphones once did.

JioLenZ Personalised Viewing

Personalisation got a major upgrade with JioLenZ, a visual tool that adapts viewing experiences to each user’s preference. Whether it’s keeping live score overlays during a cricket match, switching commentary languages instantly, or adjusting layouts for mobiles and TVs, JioLenZ makes it possible with just a single click.

This means no two viewers will ever watch content the same way again. Entertainment becomes deeply personal, intuitive, and interactive.

JioStar Media Platform

Reliance also revealed JioStar, an AI-driven media platform offering more than 320,000 hours of content, far surpassing rival OTT players. With 30,000 new hours added each year, JioStar promises an endless library.

Using advanced AI tools, viewers can navigate content seamlessly, receive personalised recommendations, and even interact with shows in new ways. JioStar is designed to keep users engaged for longer while setting new benchmarks for India’s booming streaming industry.

Reliance AI Ecosystem

The Ambanis didn’t stop at products. They emphasised Reliance’s mission of creating the world’s first AI-native ecosystem, embedding intelligence across telecom, retail, energy, and digital platforms.

From Gen AI-powered customer support to AI-driven diagnostics and automation, every Reliance vertical will now be fueled by artificial intelligence. Jio’s connectivity services like AirFiber and True 5G are also being enhanced with AI for faster, more reliable internet.

Additionally, Jio AI Cloud already offers up to 100GB of free storage, enabling millions of Indians to securely back up photos, videos, and files.

Ambanis AI Vision for India

Mukesh Ambani summed it up with a clear message: 'AI Everywhere for Everyone.' By integrating AI into daily life, Reliance is positioning India at the forefront of global digital innovation.

These announcements are more than just product launches; they mark the beginning of a new era where technology, entertainment, and lifestyle merge seamlessly. With Riya, JioPC, JioFrames, JioLenZ, and JioStar, Reliance has laid the blueprint for an AI-powered future that is accessible, inclusive, and uniquely Indian.
