Premanand Maharaj: Is it considered a sin to fire employees from their jobs?: Premanand Maharaj answers devotees' questions and clears their doubts every day. What did the Maharaj say in response to this question?
Shri Radhabhakta Premanand Maharaj offers various solutions to people's problems. He answers devotees' questions and alleviates their worries, which is why his ashram is always crowded with followers. Recently, a devotee asked him whether firing someone from their job for any reason is considered a sin. The Maharaj answered this question very simply, resolving the devotee's dilemma.
Premanand Maharaj gave the following answer to the question of dismissing employees:
Premanand Maharaj said that if an employee is not a wrongdoer and you dismiss someone based on your personal likes and dislikes, then according to God's law, you are guilty. This is because the entire family of a person who works for a living depends on that job. Many employees do not commit any wrongdoing.
If you dismiss an honest employee, you become a partner in sin. You will have to face the consequences of this sin.
Under what circumstances do you not incur sin?
However, if the company is running at a loss and employees have to be laid off, then in this situation, you do not incur sin. This is because if the company cannot support 500 employees and can only manage 300, the situation is different. Furthermore, if someone's mistake is unforgivable, then dismissing such an employee is not considered a sin.
