India is finally set to make a long-awaited comeback to the global PUBG Mobile stage. After a three-year gap, two Indian teams - Orangutan and True Rippers - will compete at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 in Thailand. While Orangutan will begin their journey in the Gauntlet Stage starting 24 November, True Rippers will participate in the Group Stage.
This return marks a major milestone for the Indian PUBG Mobile community, which last witnessed global representation in 2021.
PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Stage Begins on November 24
November 24, 2025 will be a special day for Indian fans, as an Indian team will once again feature at the PMGC after almost three years. The previous appearance came from GodLike Esports in 2021, after which India had no representation due to various competitive and regional restrictions.
Now, Orangutan will carry the hopes of the nation as they enter the Gauntlet Stage with strong momentum. Led by star IGL Aaru, the squad comprises three explosive assaulters - Akop, Wizzgod and Attanki - who have been in excellent form throughout 2025.
The team has enjoyed a remarkable year, winning two major LAN events - BMSD 2025 and iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025 - and securing a third-place finish at BGIS 2025 Kolkata.
PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Stage: Dates, Format & Teams
The Gauntlet Stage will be held from 24 to 26 November 2025, featuring 16 top teams qualified from various regional tournaments. Across 18 matches in 3 days, these teams will battle for a spot in the PMGC 2025 Grand Finals.
