The fourth season of Panchayat is now out on Amazon Prime Video. The story continues from the village of Phulera, where many fans were eagerly waiting to see what happens next. But this time, the show feels a little slow and less interesting than before.

Story Feels Slow and Less Engaging

Season 4 picks up after a big event — the shooting of the Pradhan’s husband. There’s also the upcoming village election between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi. But even with these exciting events, the story moves very slowly. There are eight episodes, but many scenes feel stretched, and the charm of the earlier seasons is missing.

What used to be a fun and heart-touching village story now feels like it’s trying too hard, without strong results.

Political Drama Falls Short

This season focuses more on politics in the village. New characters like Kranti Devi and her husband Banarakas try to make things intense, but the story doesn't keep viewers hooked. The suspense about who shot the Pradhan’s husband is also not very gripping.

Acting and Visuals Are Decent

The background music and camera work are still nice. The village scenes look good, and they match the mood of the story.

In terms of acting, the main cast does a good job as always. But this season, the side characters shine more. Vinod, played by Ashok Pathak, is the surprise star. His role is fun and adds some energy to the show.

Ending Hints at Season 5

The show ends without giving clear answers — we don’t know who won the election or what will happen with the Secretary after passing his MBA. This is clearly a setup for Panchayat Season 5, which will likely answer these questions.

Final Thoughts

Panchayat Season 4 tries to bring in new twists and drama but loses the simple and sweet storytelling that made it popular. It’s the weakest season so far, but loyal fans might still want to watch it to stay connected to the story.
