Operation Midnight Hammer: 7 B-2 bombers dropped 14 bombs on Iranian nuclear sites

US Attacks Iran: US military officer said that the aim of US bombing on Iran's nuclear installations is not to change the regime. This military operation was named Operation Midnight Hammer.

Through Operation Midnight Hammer, America targeted Iran's three nuclear sites, Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. The US Air Force carried out this operation in 25 minutes. The US dropped 12 heavy bombs on these places in Iran from 7 B-2 bombers. Around 125 fighter jets of America were also involved in this mission.

America dropped bunker-buster bombs

After this mission, General Dan Kane, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that stealth B-2 bombers dropped 30,000 pound bunker buster bombs on Iran's Fordo and Natanz nuclear sites. Isfahan was attacked with Tomahawk cruise missiles. America used 14 bunker-buster bombs and more than 24 Tomahawk missiles in this operation.

General Dan Kane said, 'B-2 stealth bombers took off from the airbase in Missouri. This entire operation lasted for 18 hours, in which very little communication was used so that Iran would not even get a clue of our action. This operation was designed to severely destroy Iran's nuclear weapons infrastructure. This was a very confidential mission and very few people in Washington were aware of it.'

All three nuclear sites of Iran were destroyed in 25 minutes

He said, 'The aim of US bombing on Iran's nuclear installations is not to change the regime. The US defense chief said that his country does not want war and it did not target Iranian soldiers or people.' The US launched attacks on Iran at 4:10 am on Sunday (22 June 2025) Indian time and left Iranian airspace by 4:35.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, 'The planning done by President Trump was bold and brilliant. The world saw the power of America. When President Trump speaks, the world should listen. No other country on earth could have carried out this operation.'

After the air strike on Iran, Donald Trump addressed the nation and said, 'Iran has been working against America for the last 40 years. Many Americans have been victims of this hatred, so they have decided that this will not happen anymore. Trump said, 'Now there will either be peace or tragedy. There are still many targets left. If peace does not come soon, we will attack other targets with more precise attacks.
