Reports say that cricket is very popular in India, so there will be no shortage of sponsors for Indian cricket and its associated organizations. The reason for this online gaming bill is the lack of permission to sponsor individual fantasy gaming platforms.
The report says, will we continue to show ads for fantasy game applications that involve real money? If the player has received money for an advertisement and allows the use of real money, what will happen to the amount paid for the advertisement?

Indian Premier League's official fantasy sports partner 'Dream11' has signed a new contract with online gaming platform 'My11 Circle'. Dream11 has taken the title sponsorship of the Indian cricket team for around $44 million (about Rs 358 crore). At the same time, 'My11 Circle' has bought the fantasy gaming rights of IPL for 5 years for Rs 628 crore (about Rs 125 crore per year). Apart from this, India's top cricketers (former cricketers and currently playing cricketers) have also signed personal agreements with gaming platforms.
Offering or facilitating online money gaming can lead to 3 years imprisonment or a fine of Rs 1 crore. There is no ban on esports and social games. However, there should not be any kind of money transaction in it. The government said that it has been brought keeping in mind the safety and mental health of the youth.
