According to the official logline of "One Piece: Into the Grand Line", Luffy and the Straw Hats will face "fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests" this season. According to the manga, there is some speculation on how far the story will be covered in Season 2:
- Loguetown Arc: At the end of Season 1, the crew prepared to leave for the Grand Line. Therefore, Season 2 is expected to start from Loguetown, where they will encounter Smoker and Buggy.
- Reverse Mountain and Laboon: There is only one way to enter the Grand Line, Reverse Mountain. Here the crew meets Laboon, a giant whale. The trailer shows the flash of Laboon, which confirms that this arc will be covered.
- Whiskey Peak and Little Garden: After this, the Straw Hats will have to face the agents of Baroque Works. Nico Robin (Miss All Sunday) will enter from here. Then he will meet the giants Brogy and Dorry in Little Garden.
- Drum Island Arc: The most important and fan-favourite arc, Drum Island. Here the crew will meet Chopper, who will become their ship doctor. In this arc, they will face Wapol and his minions.
