According to local sources, Anunay had returned to his hotel room after a video shoot. In the morning, his team tried to wake him up, but he did not respond. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Anunay was the youngest among three siblings. His father, Rahul Sood, is a retired engineer. His two elder sisters are married. Anunay’s mother is currently in Dubai and is expected to return to Noida soon. The family confirmed that his body will be brought back to Noida within a week.
