Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 rankings at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on Monday, August 12. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Ahmedabad was once again ranked as India's best business school. IIT Delhi, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Calcutta came after IIM Ahmedabad.
With a record 10,885 schools submitting for this year's ranking, it is clear that since its introduction in 2015, competition and participation among India's educational institutions have significantly increased.
IIM-Mumbai was ranked sixth in NIRF Ranking 2024, after IIM-Lucknow, IIM-Indore, Xavier School of Management-Jamshedpur, and IIT-Bombay.
Dharmendra Pradhan, UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, and BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar, the Union Minister of State for Education, Government of India, were among the guests at the event on Monday.
