New UPI Rules: UPI New Rules: From August 1, new rules related to UPI payment system have come into force across the country. These changes will directly affect your pocket, your app and your daily digital habits. If you transact, check balance or check payment status several times a day with UPI, then be careful now. Because now a limit has been imposed on these.
NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) has taken this step to prevent the problem of increasing load on UPI server and frequent outages. Let's know what has changed for you from today:

1. Limit of balance check: Now you will be able to check account balance only 50 times a day. Earlier there was no limit to this, but now the habit of checking balance repeatedly has been curbed. This change has been made especially keeping in mind those users who check balance every now and then.
2. Limit on transaction history: Now, account details or transaction history can be viewed only 25 times a day from any one UPI app. That is, the habit of scrolling the history again and again is now limited.
3. Limit on viewing payment status: After UPI payment, you will now be able to check payment status only 3 times a day, and a gap of 90 seconds will be necessary between each time. Its purpose is to avoid hitting the app again and again.
4. Limit on payment reversal: Now you can request chargeback only 10 times in a month. The limit for refunding money from a single person or merchant will be only 5 times. That is, fake reversal requests will also be controlled now.
5. Auto payment only at fixed time: Now autopay transactions will be processed only before 10 am or between 1 pm to 5 pm. That means, if you have set the payment of Netflix, SIP or any app on auto, then it will be deducted only in these time slots.
