Hyundai has set the stage for one of the most anticipated compact SUV launches of the year. The new-generation Hyundai Venue 2025 has been officially revealed ahead of its India launch on November 4, and bookings are now open at dealerships as well as on Hyundai’s Click To Buy platform for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The model arrives with a larger body, sharper design, upgraded cabin tech and multiple engine options to take on the red-hot sub-4m SUV segment.
Hyundai has visibly scaled the Venue’s proportions, making it taller and wider than the current version. The 2025 Venue measures 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,665mm in height, and now sits on a 2,520mm wheelbase, an increase that translates into more room inside. With a 48mm rise in height and 30mm gain in width, its stance now looks fuller and more road-commanding than before.
The exterior has been fully reworked with new-age Hyundai cues. The compact SUV comes with twin horn LED DRLs, quad-beam LED headlights, a dark chrome grille, a new in-glass Venue insignia, stronger wheel arches, bridge-style roof rails, and fresh 16-inch diamond-cut alloys. The result is a visibly premium and more assertive look designed to appeal to next-gen city SUV buyers.
Inside, it’s a complete reinvention. The new Hyundai Venue 2025 gets a redesigned H-architecture dashboard, dual-tone dark navy and dove grey cabin, and dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic screens integrating both the cluster and infotainment unit. The cabin also packs dual-tone leatherette upholstery with Venue embossing, ambient lighting in Moon White, a terrazzo-textured crash pad, a floating centre console, rear AC vents, rear sunshades, and a four-way powered driver seat. Two-step reclining rear seats and the extended wheelbase add noticeable comfort for passengers.
Powertrain options will be familiar but refined, 1.2 Kappa MPi petrol, 1.0 turbo GDi petrol, and 1.5 diesel, with manual, automatic and DCT options depending on trim. Hyundai is also restructuring its naming format to the new HX-based ladder: HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX7, HX8 and HX10. Higher trims will host premium tech, sunroof features and drivetrain upgrades.
The SUV will be offered in six single-tone and two dual-tone paints, including new Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire and a Hazel Blue + Abyss Black roof combo. Other colours include Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red and Abyss Black.
Since its 2019 debut, the Venue has sold over seven lakh units in India, consistently ranking among Hyundai’s highest-selling models. The 2025 Venue will again challenge the Tata Nexon, Brezza, Sonet and XUV300. Pricing is expected to start around ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom) when it goes on sale starting November 4.
With bookings already live, Hyundai has fired the first shot of the festive SUV season. The question now is not whether it will sell, but how quickly the updated Venue will dominate its segment all over again.
