Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is back with a new season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). This is the 17th season of the show, and fans are very excited to watch it.
When and Where to Watch KBC 17
The first episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 will air on Monday, 11 August 2025, at 9 PM on Sony TV.
You can watch it on TV from Monday to Friday every week.
If you want to watch it online, it will also be available on Sony LIV and OTT Play Premium.
What’s Special in KBC 17?
KBC started in the year 2000, and this year it is completing 25 years. To celebrate this silver jubilee, the makers have planned to make the show more interesting and fun.
The tagline for this season is "Jahan Gyaan Hai, Wahan Shaan Hai" (Where there is knowledge, there is pride). Viewers will see exciting questions, touching contestant stories, and Amitabh Bachchan’s entertaining style.

Prize Money and Game Format
The top prize in KBC 17 is ₹7 crore.
The format is the same as before – contestants will answer multiple-choice questions with 4 options. They can also use lifelines for help during the game.
Some reports say that Amitabh Bachchan is earning ₹5 crore per episode for hosting the show, but this has not been officially confirmed.
