Following the outbreak of the conflict on February 28, Russia is now preparing to deliver a consignment of drones to Iran by March 2026. The report further notes that since 2023, Russia has been manufacturing such drones—originally designed by Iran—for use in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
It is reported that the objective behind this shipment from Russia to Iran is to bolster Tehran's military capabilities and stabilize its government. Dismissing these reports as "fake," the Kremlin stated that it continues to maintain dialogue with the Iranian leadership.
