Gullu’s real name is Kushal Tanwar. Born in 1999, he is 26 years old as of January 2026. He hails from Gurugram, Haryana, and is widely known for his raw humour, bold personality, and relatable digital content.
Before entering Splitsvilla 16, Gullu already had a strong fan following thanks to his win on MTV Roadies XX: Double Cross (2025). He was part of Elvish Yadav’s gang, and his Roadies journey made him a household name among reality TV audiences.
Inside Splitsvilla, several female contestants instantly recognised him and openly admitted that he had previously slid into their DMs. This prior social media connection gave him an edge and helped him stand out early in the game.

Reacting to the viral rumours, Gullu said he was completely confused about how such news even started. According to him, the images being shared as wedding pictures have no truth behind them.

'I don’t know where the news of my marriage came up. The pictures on social media are completely fake. I’m not married, and I don’t know where the pictures came from.'
Another interesting revelation came from Preet Singh, Gullu’s fellow contestant on Splitsvilla 16. She revealed that she and Gullu had met in Goa before the show, after he slid into her Instagram DMs.
According to Preet, the two spent time together and had fun, but things ended when Gullu suddenly ghosted her. She explained that her anger issues might have been overwhelming for him at that time. However, she made it clear that they were never in a serious relationship and that everything between them was casual.
When Preet entered the villa, both tried to hide their past, but the truth eventually came out during a conversation with the hosts, adding yet another layer of drama to the show.
