Good news for Indian gaming fans! India will take part in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, which will be held in Thailand from November to December 2025. Sports Tiger has confirmed that India has received one of the three special invited slots for the tournament.
India on the World Stage
This is a big moment because India recently took part in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Team Aryan x TMG, winners of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, represented the country there. Now, with this new slot at PMGC 2025, India will once again compete against the best teams in the world.
Krafton’s New Tournaments in India
Krafton India has also announced two big tournaments in the second half of 2025 (from September to December). The winner of one of these tournaments will get a chance to go to Thailand for PMGC 2025.
This is exciting news for players because Krafton had earlier canceled the BGMI Franchise League 2025. Now, these new tournaments will give Indian gamers more chances to show their skills.
India’s Esports Journey in 2025
So far, India has already seen two successful gaming events this year:
- BGIS 2025 (January–April, Kolkata Grand Finals): Team Versatile became champions.
- BMPS 2025 (May–July, New Delhi Grand Finals): Team Aryan x TMG won and represented India in Saudi Arabia.
Now, fans can enjoy two more tournaments in the coming months and one of the winners will head to PMGC.
PMGC 2025 Details
The PMGC 2025 will bring together 39 teams from around the world. Of the three special invites, one goes to Thailand as host, one is now confirmed for India, and one more will be announced later.
Final Thoughts
For India, this is a proud moment as it shows how much mobile gaming and esports have grown in the country. With more tournaments coming and another chance to shine at PMGC, the end of 2025 looks very exciting for Indian esports fans.
