The Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 is heating up as the tournament moves into Group Stage Week 2. After an intense opening week featuring 48 teams, only the top 36 squads have secured their spots in the next phase of the competition.

Week 2 promises even more thrilling action as the remaining teams battle for a place in the Knockout Stage. With several well-known organizations and rising teams still in the race, the competition is expected to be fierce.

The 36 qualified teams have been divided into three groups, with 12 teams in each group.

Each group contains a mix of experienced esports organizations and emerging squads, making every match crucial for qualification.

FFMIC 2026 Week 2 Schedule

The Group Stage Week 2 matches will take place over three days:

  • March 6, 2026
  • March 7, 2026
  • March 8, 2026

During this stage, teams will compete in multiple matches within their respective groups to secure a place in the next round.

Tournament Format for Week 2

The structure for Week 2 is designed to test consistency and teamwork across several matches.

  • 36 teams compete in Week 2
  • Teams are divided into 3 groups of 12 teams
  • Each team will play 6 matches in total
  • The Top 6 teams from each group will qualify for the Knockout Stage

This means 18 teams will move forward while the remaining squads will be eliminated from the tournament.

Road to the Esports World Cup 2026

The TEZ Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring is one of the biggest esports events for the Indian Free Fire community this year. Sponsored by TEZ Platforms, the tournament began in February 2026 with a combination of offline city qualifiers and online in-game qualifiers.

Qualifiers were held across major cities such as Lucknow, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, giving players from across the country an opportunity to compete at the highest level.

What makes this season even more significant is the global opportunity at stake. The top three teams from the Grand Finale will qualify for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Riyadh, making the competition even more intense.

With Group Stage Week 2 underway, teams must deliver consistent performances to reach the Knockout Stage. Only the strongest squads will advance toward the Grand Finale scheduled for April, where the best teams in India will compete for the championship title and a chance to represent the country on the global stage.
