Buddha Purnima: Prakash aur Gyan ka Parv: Buddha Purnima, jise Vesak ke naam se bhi jaana jaata hai, Buddhist dharma ke sabse pavitra dinon mein se ek hai. Yeh Vaishakh mahine ki purnima tithi ko manaaya jaata hai, jo aam taur par May ke mahine mein aati hai. Buddha Purnima kyon manaai jaati hai?
Buddha Purnima ka mahatva isliye hai kyunki yeh Bhagwan Buddha ke jeevan ki teen sabse mahatvapoorna ghatnaon se juda hua hai:
- Janm: Lagbhag 563 BCE, Rajkumar Siddhartha Gautam ka janm Nepal ke Lumbini naamak sthaan par hua tha. Yeh purnima ka hi din tha jab Maya Devi ne unhein janm diya.
- Gyanoday: Bodh Gaya (vartmaan Bihar, Bharat) mein ek peepal ke vriksh ke neeche kathor tapasya karne ke baad, isi purnima ke din Siddhartha Gautam ko Buddhatva prapt hua. Is din unhein param gyan ki prapti hui aur ve 'Buddha' kehlaaye, jiska arth hai 'jaagrit' ya 'gyaanvaan'.
- Mahaparinirvana: Lagbhag 80 varsh ki aayu mein, Kushinagar (vartmaan Uttar Pradesh, Bharat) mein Buddha ne apna nashwar shareer tyaag diya aur Mahaparinirvana ko prapt hue. Yeh bhi Vaishakh Purnima ka hi din tha.
Chunki yeh teeno mahatvapoorna ghatnaayein ek hi tithi par hueen, isliye Buddha Purnima Buddhist anuyayiyon ke liye ek atyant pavitra aur mahatvapoorna din ban gaya. Yeh din Buddha ke jeevan, unki shikshaon aur unke dwara dikhaaye gaye shanti aur karuna ke marg ko yaad karne aur uska anusaran karne ka avsar pradaan karta hai.
Buddha Purnima ka Itihaas
Buddha Purnima ka itihaas 2500 se bhi adhik varsh puraana hai, jab Rajkumar Siddhartha Gautam ne saansarik dukhon se mukti ka marg khojne ke liye apna rajsee jeevan tyaag diya tha. Varshon ki tapasya aur dhyaan ke baad, unhone Bodh Gaya mein gyan prapt kiya aur Buddha bane. Iske baad, unhone apna shesh jeevan logon ko dharma ka marg dikhaane mein bitaaya.

- Upvaas aur daan: Kai log is din upvaas rakhte hain aur gareebon aur zaroorat mando ko daan karte hain. Yeh karuna aur udaarta ke Buddha ke updeshon ka paalan karne ka ek tareeka hai.
- Praarthana aur dhyaan: Buddha ki shikshaon ka smaran kiya jaata hai aur shanti aur gyan ki prapti ke liye praarthana aur dhyaan kiya jaata hai.
- Buddha ki murtiyon ki pooja: Buddha ki murtiyon ko phoolon se sajaaya jaata hai aur un par jal chhidka jaata hai, jo shuddhata aur naye sire se shuruaat ka prateek hai.
- Bodhi vriksh ki pooja: Bodh Gaya mein sthit us pavitra peepal ke vriksh ki pooja ki jaati hai jiske neeche Buddha ko gyan prapt hua tha.
- Shobha yaatraayein: Kai sthaanon par rangeen shobha yaatraayein nikaali jaati hain, jinmein Buddha ki murtiyon ko sajaakar le jaaya jaata hai aur Buddhist bhikshu shanti aur sadbhaav ke sandesh dete hain.
- Pashu-pakshiyon ko abhaydaan: Kuch Buddhist anuyayi is din pinjre mein band pakshiyon aur jaanwaron ko azaad karte hain, jo sabhi jeevon ke prati karuna ka prateek hai.
- Sanskritik kaaryakram: Buddha ke jeevan aur shikshaon par aadhaarit vibhinn saanskritik kaaryakram jaise naatak, sangeet aur nritya bhi aayojit kiye jaate hain.
Buddha Purnima hamein Bhagwan Buddha ke jeevan aur unki shikshaon se prerna lene ka avsar pradaan karta hai. Yeh hamein shanti, karuna aur gyan ke marg par chalne aur ek behtar insaan banne ke liye prerit karta hai. Yeh din hamein yeh bhi yaad dilaata hai ki jeevan anitya hai aur hamein apne karmon ke prati sachet rehna chahiye.
Buddha Purnima sirf ek tyohaar nahin hai, yeh ek sandesh hai - shanti, sadbhaav aur karuna ka sandesh, jo aaj ke ashaant vishwa mein aur bhi adhik mahatvapoorna ho jaata hai.
