In the initial results, the NDA is leading and looks on track to form the government. Both BJP and JDU are performing strongly, while the Mahagathbandhan seems to be losing ground this time.

NDA Leading, Strong Performance by BJP & JDU

According to the latest trends:

  • BJP: Leading on 82 seats (earlier 76)

  • RJD: Around 60–62 seats
  • Congress: Only 11–12 seats

Why Mahagathbandhan is Losing?

Some reasons behind their weak performance may include:

  • Poor seat distribution
  • Disputes over candidate selection
  • Congress’s weak ground strategy
  • Internal issues within RJD
  • NDA’s aggressive and organised campaign

Is NDA Government Almost Confirmed?

  • Based on the early trends, it looks like yes.
  • BJP and JDU together seem to be crossing 190+ seats, which is enough to form the government.
  • Although final results may bring slight changes, the current situation strongly indicates NDA’s return to power.
