There has been a major reversal in the world of India's billionaires. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has once again become the country's richest person in the 14th edition of the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025. His net worth now stands at ₹9.55 lakh crore. He has reclaimed the title of India's richest person, surpassing Gautam Adani and his family.
According to the report, Gautam Adani and his family currently have a net worth of ₹8.15 lakh crore. This means the race for the top spot has become a two-way street between Ambani and Adani. This year's list also brought another major surprise: HCL Technologies Chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra and her family made it to the top three for the first time. Her estimated wealth is ₹2.84 lakh crore, making her India's richest woman.
The number of billionaires in India continues to grow. This year, the country added over 350 billionaires, a six-fold increase from 13 years ago. Their combined wealth is estimated at ₹167 lakh crore, nearly half of India's GDP.

Zepto founder Kaivalya Vohra (22) became the youngest billionaire. His partner, Adit Palicha (23), is the second youngest billionaire.
