BGMI Showdown 2025 Prize Pool: INR 1 Crore, 48 Teams Battle

The much-awaited BGMI Showdown 2025 (BMSD 2025) officially begins on 18 September, featuring the best teams from BGIS, BMPS, and major third-party tournaments. With a massive INR 1 Crore prize pool at stake, top squads will be locking horns not only for the championship glory but also for a ticket to represent India at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025.

The Grand Finals of BMSD 2025 will be held in Hyderabad at an offline LAN event from 10 to 12 October, where the top 16 teams will fight across 18 matches to lift the trophy.

BGMI Showdown 2025 Format and Schedule

Lower Bracket (18 – 21 September):

24 teams are split into 3 groups of 8. After a round-robin set, the top 12 qualify for Quarter Finals, while the rest are eliminated.

Upper Bracket (22 – 25 September):

Another 24 teams play in 3 groups. The top 12 advance directly to Semi-Finals, while the bottom 12 drop into the Quarter Finals.

Quarter Finals (26 – 29 September):

24 teams (12 from LB + 12 from UB) play 16 matches. The best 12 teams move to Semi-Finals, while others are eliminated.

Semi-Finals (4 – 7 October):

24 teams (round-robin) compete. The top 8 proceed to Grand Finals, while the bottom 16 enter the Survival Stage.

Survival Stage (8 – 9 October):

The 16 semi-final dropouts get one last chance. Top 8 qualify for Grand Finals, and the rest are out.

Grand Finals (10 – 12 October):

A total of 16 teams (8 from Semi-Finals + 8 from Survival Stage) will battle it out in 18 matches at LAN in Hyderabad. The overall table-topper will be crowned BMSD 2025 Champion.
