The BGMI 4.3 Update is expected to arrive in March, and the second beta has revealed many exciting new features. Krafton is bringing a fresh Event Mode that changes how the battle royale is played. From special powers to redesigned locations, this update looks bigger than ever.

BGMI 4.3 Event Mode: Superpowers Explained
The biggest highlight of the update is the new Specialization System.
At the start of every match, players choose one power on the spawn island. This power stays active for the entire match and gets stronger as the game progresses (C, B, A, S levels).

1. Vehicle Specialization
- Vehicles use less fuel
- Vehicles take less damage
- Unlocks Nitro Boost
- Maximum speed goes up to 140 km/h

- Go prone for a few seconds to activate scan
- Shows number of nearby enemies
- Also detects vehicles

3. Healing Specialization
- Faster teammate revival
- Revive time reduced from 9 seconds to around 5 seconds

4. Combat Specialization
- Gain speed boost after knocking or eliminating enemies
- Helps in aggressive push gameplay

5. Recon Specialization
- Enemies you hit get marked
- Marker is visible to the entire squad

Redesigned Hot Drops and the Introduction of “Safe Walls”
Four popular locations on Erangel have been completely redesigned:
- Pochinki - Music District theme
- Georgopol - Updated structure
- Mylta - New combat layout
- Mansion - Restaurant-style theme
These areas now offer intense fights and better loot.
Textured White Wall: A High-Risk, High-Reward Feature
A new Textured White Wall appears in hot drop zones.
Inside this zone:
- Players get one extra life (recall)
- Continuous health and energy regeneration
- High-risk but high-reward combat
These zones will be the most dangerous and action-packed areas in the match.
New Weapons, Tactical Gear, and Protective Shields
The BGMI 4.3 update also expands the arsenal with fresh combat options.
M1 Garand Rifle
A unique semi-automatic weapon featuring a built-in melee slash attack, allowing players to strike enemies in close-range combat without switching weapons.
Protective Shielding Beacon
This new tactical item deploys an indestructible bubble shield for up to 15 seconds, offering crucial cover during revives, looting, or final-circle chaos.
Time Travel Portals and the Mystery of the Mirror World
One of the most intriguing additions spotted in the beta is the appearance of Time Travel Portals floating in the sky. Although they are not fully functional yet, leaks suggest these portals may lead to a Mirror World dimension, expected to unlock in the final phase of the BGMI 4.3 release.
If implemented fully, this feature could introduce alternate versions of maps or unique loot zones, adding a fresh layer of strategy to matches.
