The BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2026 registrations have officially ended. The registration window was open from December 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026, and thousands of teams from across India signed up. With registrations now closed, teams are moving on to the next stage – verification.
BGIS 2026 Verification Starts Today
The verification process runs from January 5 to 7, 2026. During this time, team captains need to make sure that all player details, in-game IDs, and government IDs are correct. Only verified teams can play in the In-Game Qualifiers (IGQ) from January 8 to 14, 2026.
Requirements for IGQ:
- Squad of 4–6 members
- Each player Level 30 or higher
- Minimum rank: Platinum I

Common Verification Issues in BGIS 2026
Many teams are seeing “pending” or “failed” statuses. Common problems include:
- Mismatched UIDs or in-game names
- Wrong or missing government IDs
- Incomplete profiles
Krafton has said that correctly submitted profiles will auto-approve by January 8, 2026. Teams should avoid resubmitting profiles unnecessarily, as this may delay the process.
BGMI India Series 2026: Tournament Roadmap
- Round 1: Starts January 26, 2026, with top IGQ teams and invited pro teams
- Online Stages: After Round 1
- LAN Finals: Late March 2026
The total prize pool for BGIS 2026 is ₹4 crore. This tournament gives new and aspiring teams a chance to compete at a national level. Teams that missed registration will have to wait until next year but can practice in the meantime through scrims and updates in BGMI.
