KRAFTON India has officially announced a ₹4 Crore prize pool for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 Grand Finals, scheduled from March 27 to March 29, 2026, at the Chennai Trade Centre. The semi-finals are currently underway, with top teams battling for a place in the Grand Finals.
Community Drives Half the Prize Pool via Discovery Island
A unique highlight of BGIS 2026 is its community-driven prize pool system. Through the Discovery Island initiative, players unlocked an additional ₹2 Crore.
- Launch Date: January 15, 2026
- How It Works: Players earn Exploration Points by playing Classic Mode matches and participating in themed in-game events.
- Outcome: Every milestone was achieved, adding ₹2 Crore to the base prize pool, bringing the total to ₹4 Crore.
