Baby John Movie Review

In the film 'Baby John', director Kalij has presented Varun Dhawan in an interesting way. We have seen Varun doing romance and comedy most of the time. Everyone likes his 'naughty' style seen in 'Swami' type look. But with 'Baby John' and 'Citadel', Varun is trying to prove that he can also become an action hero. In 'Baby John', Varun has done complete justice to his character. But it will be interesting to see how much the Hindi audience will be able to digest his rowdy style. After watching the film, it may seem that Varun is overacting, but Varun is only doing what the director has made him do. The same thing happened with Shahrukh Khan's 'Jawaan', which is happening with Varun after watching this film.

Many did not like the way Atlee presented Shahrukh Khan. Kalij is his disciple and in 'Baby John' he has made a remake of his guru's film. Obviously, they have also tried to present Varun on the big screen like Tamil superstars Vijay Thalapathi and Ajith.

Should we watch Baby John in theatres or not?

After 'Pushpa 2', our expectations from action scenes have increased. But in 'Baby John', we will get to see good action scenes. The hero kills and gets killed too. There is violence in the film, but there is also logic and emotions behind it, which justifies this violence. However, should such films get UA certificate? This can be a topic of discussion, because there was a time when for UA certificate, if there was a scene of acid throwing in the film, then the actress's reaction after throwing it was also suggested to be trimmed after a few seconds, but the same censor board is issuing UA certificates to films with violence very easily. Even if there is logic in the action of the film, what is the logic behind the censor board giving UA to such films? This has not been revealed yet.

It is Christmas, if you have already seen Pushpa 2, then you can go to the theatre and watch 'Baby John'. If you are a fan of Varun Dhawan or Tamil films, then you will enjoy it a lot. And anyway, Varun Dhawan himself has said that many like me have come, but I have come for the first time, so it is worth going to the theatre to welcome me.
