In a deeply emotional and explosive moment that has shaken the entertainment industry, Babil Khan, son of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan, deleted his Instagram account after posting a series of heart-wrenching stories. In those videos, Babil called out what he described as the fakest industry he has ever experienced, Bollywood and took direct aim at some of its rising stars.

Early Sunday morning, Babil posted multiple video stories on Instagram in which he broke down visibly while sharing his disillusionment with the Hindi film industry. He stated:

Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry I've ever been a part of. But there are a few who genuinely want it to be better… I have so much more to give you.

Fans were stunned to see Babil, usually known for his poetic reflections and calm demeanour, voicing such strong sentiments. It wasn’t long before his account was deleted, sparking concerns over his mental well-being and emotional state.

In another bombshell revelation, Babil named several actors and artists, including Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and even singer Arijit Singh, suggesting deeper problems within Bollywood’s social and professional circles.

There are people like Shanaya, Ananya, Arjun... Bollywood is so f*****. Bollywood is so screwed.

The internet erupted with speculation. Was Babil being bullied? Is there a deeper clique culture that isolates outsiders or those unwilling to conform?

Many fans and mental health advocates are raising red flags. The actor’s sudden emotional breakdown and account deletion are being seen as potential indicators of an ongoing personal struggle. Babil’s vulnerability highlights an ongoing conversation around mental health in Bollywood, especially for young actors navigating nepotism, competition, and public scrutiny.

Adding to the intrigue, Ananya Panday posted a carousel on Instagram the same day, featuring a cryptic Harry Potter quote:

What's coming will come, and we will meet it when it does.

While she didn’t address the controversy directly, many followers suspect the post was a veiled response to Babil’s outburst.

Just a few days before this incident, Babil had penned a deeply emotional tribute to his father, marking the fifth anniversary of Irrfan Khan’s death.

With you, without you. Life goes on... Soon I’ll be there. With you, not without you…

His words resonated with thousands, but also hinted at the inner turmoil of a young artist still grappling with loss, identity, and the pressures of fame.

After debuting in Qala (2022), Babil gained widespread appreciation for The Railway Men, a gripping Prime Video series. His latest appearance was in ZEE5’s Logout, further establishing his range. Yet, despite a promising career, the recent outburst suggests an internal conflict that may be simmering beneath the surface.
