GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, based on Florida. It will take players through a vast and detailed open-world environment. The biggest news is that we are returning to Vice City, which is inspired by Miami and will be the game's primary urban center.
The map will also include many more diverse locations apart from Vice City:
- Leonida Keys: A tropical archipelago inspired by the Florida Keys.
- Grassrivers: A swampy area like Everglades, which will also have wildlife like crocodiles.
- Ambrosia: An industrial district that will have a strong, working class atmosphere.

GTA 6 will feature two main protagonists: Jason and Lucia. This is the first time the GTA series has a female protagonist. Their story revolves around a Bonnie and Clyde-style criminal saga where they make their way through Vice City's criminal underworld.

GTA 6 will also take a satirical look at modern American culture, social media, and influencer culture, giving gamers a familiar but fun experience.
