BL Agro to host the two-day championship on December 20th and 21st in Bareilly UP
Bareilly, UP, December 19, 2025: The 10th Edition of the UP-State Para Powerlifting Championship and Para Athletics Championship, supported by BL Agro and organised by Bareilly Para Sports Association under the aegis of UP Para Sports Association and Paralympics Committee of India, is scheduled on December 20 and 21, 2025 at BL Agro Stadium in UPSIDA Industrial Area, Bareilly, announced at a press conference today at BL Agro Stadium Parsakhera. The highly anticipated two-day event will celebrate the spirit and strength of para-athletes.
The championship will bring together over 400 para-athletes from 40 districts across Uttar Pradesh, celebrating resilience, talent, and sporting excellence. The event will witness the esteemed presence of other distinguished guests from the fields of sports administration, governance, and social development, further underlining the growing importance of para sports in the state.
Over the course of two days, Bareilly will witness extraordinary displays of strength, speed, and determination, as para-athletes compete across athletics and powerlifting disciplines, inspiring audiences with their courage and commitment.
The championship will again mark a significant milestone in promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities in sports, while strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to nurturing para-athletic talent at the grassroots and competitive levels.
Shri J.P. Singh, Chairman of Para-powerlifting at the Paralympic Committee of India and Special Member, UP Para Sports Association said that, “just like last year, he wants to express his heartfelt thanks to BL Agro for organizing such a great event this year as well. The facilities BL Agro has provided for the players are no less than those at the national level.”

Last year too, BL Agro, supported the 9th edition of the UP-State Para Powerlifting Championship and Para Athletics Championship where 200 plus athletes participated from 30 districts.
