Born on 28 September 2003 in Siliguri, Richa Ghosh celebrates her birthday as one of India’s prominent wicketkeeper-batters.
Richa made her international debut in 2020 at just 16, quickly establishing herself as an exciting young talent in Indian women’s cricket.
Known for powerful strokeplay and six-hitting ability, Richa has developed into a dangerous middle-order batter capable of changing matches rapidly.
Against UAE in the 2024 Women’s Asia Cup, Richa smashed an unbeaten 64 off 29 balls, including five successive boundaries to finish the innings.
Richa continues to feature prominently for India across formats, combining wicketkeeping skills with aggressive batting. She was also part of India’s 2026 Asian Games squad.
